CCT application pack
Individuals who satisfactorily complete specialist or specialty training in the UK will be entitled to receive a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) from GMC after a recommendation by the relevant medical royal college. The Royal College of Pathologists can recommend the award of the CCT in the following specialties:
- Chemical Pathology
- Chemical Pathology (Metabolic Medicine)
- Diagnostic Neuropathology
- Forensic Histopathology
- Histopathology
- Medical Microbiology
- Medical Virology
- Paediatric and Perinatal Pathology
All trainees have a maximum of 12 months to apply for their CCT. Trainees who do not apply in time will only be eligible to apply for entry to the specialist register through Portfolio Pathway route and will no longer be eligible for a CCT
